Canadian music icon Celine Dion has made her long-awaited return to the concert stage, performing before about 30,000 fans at a sold-out show in Paris on Saturday.
The 58-year-old singer became emotional as she opened her first full concert in more than six years at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, near Paris.
Dion had stepped away from live performances after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder that affects muscle control. Her return marks a major comeback after years away from the stage.
She performed a selection of songs from her career during the emotional show, which also drew high-profile guests including former US First Lady Michelle Obama.
The Paris performance is part of Dion’s 2026 concert residency, marking a significant milestone in her return to live music.
