High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, has deployed 34 campaign vehicles to Kwara State to support grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The vehicles were provided through the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, whose Kwara State chapter was inaugurated in Ilorin. Tompolo was represented at the event by the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Limited, Chief Kestin Pondi, who conveyed his message to supporters.
Pondi said the vehicles would facilitate door-to-door campaigns and community outreach across the state, including visits to markets, religious centres and residential areas. The movement also plans to promote Tinubu’s policies and encourage residents to support All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 2027 elections.
Tompolo urged Kwara residents to support Tinubu and APC candidates across elective positions, arguing that cooperation between the executive and legislative arms of government would help advance policies on security, infrastructure, healthcare and education.
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq congratulated the movement’s newly inaugurated executives and urged them to listen to residents’ concerns and communicate their feedback to the relevant authorities. He also cautioned members against violence and defamatory statements, stressing the importance of responsible political engagement.
The APC governorship candidate in Kwara State, Yakubu Danladi-Saliu, described the inauguration as part of a wider nationwide mobilisation effort to strengthen the party’s grassroots presence ahead of the elections.
The National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, also called on eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and participate in the 2027 polls. The deployment forms part of the movement’s efforts to expand support for Tinubu and APC candidates across the state.
